FAQs & Troubleshooting
Yes, the Pathway Lights and Spot Lights work together. They can be connected using the same Smart Bridge and cable
No. Without the bridge the lights will have several limitations such as:
•Limited range of control (Bluetooth only)
•Slower response time
•Scheduling feature is not available
•No Alexa/Google commands
Adding your Smart Pathway Lights to the Smart Bridge is essential to have access to allapp/device features.
Yes, the pathway lights are waterproof (IP65)
No, they cannot be buried.
No, the Smart Bridge is meant to be kept in a dry space (indoors)
During the initial setup, all pathway lights should be as close as possible to the Smart Bridge. It’s recommended to bring your Smart Bridge near the lights to avoid any signal issues. Once connected you can return the Smart Bridge to your desired location.
For example:If you were able to connect Pathway Light 1 and Pathway Light 2 but is having problems with 3 and 4, it could be a signal/range issue.
1.Unplug the Smart Bridge from the current location and bring it as close as possible to the lights 3 and 4
2.Plug the Smart Bridge and wait a few seconds until it’s back online.
3.Confirm that the pathway lights you want to add are flashing white. If not, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
4.Select your Smart Bridge on the Atomi Smart app home screen and press ‘Add New Device’. The lights 3 and 4 should be detected. (If the lights were already added before, you can select ‘Add Existing Device’)
5.Once the lights are connected you can unplug your Smart Bridge, return it to the original location and plug it in again. Wait a few seconds until it’s back online.
6.You can now control your pathway lights.
For Smart Bridge: Make sure that your phone’s Bluetooth is turned ON and the permission settings are allowing the app to connect via Bluetooth.
For Smart Pathway Lights: Press and hold each “Power” button until the lights start flashing to reset your devices
In order to connect multiple lights and control with the Atomi Smart app you are required to create a group.
– On the Atomi Smart app, select one of the lights that you’ve added
– Press the top right button (Pencil icon)
– Press “Create Group” and select all the lights you want to group
– Press “Save”. You can now control all your Smart Pathway Lightssimultaneously!
Make sure that you’ve added the lights to the Smart Bridge.
The lights will not work properly if they were not added to the Smart Bridge.
Use your smartphone to confirm that you have at least two WiFi bars in the vicinity of your Atomi Smart device. If not, move your Atomi Smart device closer to your router. (The list will refresh every 10 seconds).
Make sure that you have entered the correct WiFi password during setup. Check if there are problems with your internet connection. If the WiFi signal is too weak, reset your WiFi router and try again.
Refresh the device list.
Force quit and re-launch the Atomi Smart app.
To reset the WiFi without losing your Atomi Smart devices settings, hold down the power button and wait for the LED to change from amber to blinking white, then release. When the LED begins to alternate white and amber, follow steps 3-5 to associate your Atomi Smart device with your new network.

Lights are fantastic, and very durable. Grouping for scenes is a little clunkier that it could be, but overall the app is great also. Good connectivity from the lights to the bluetooth hub at decent range (75 feet, through two walls).
I had two lights fail within about a year. I messaged Atomi and got quick responses. After a few questions/troubleshooting steps, they sent new ones expedited shipping at no cost to me, and they work great.

I bought a few sets to light the path for a backyard wedding. The bride LOVED that we could create a color scheme that matched her wedding colors. It was magical! Will transfer them to my front yard for everyday use. Wish we had more occasions to use all the colors, other than Halloween and Christmas LOL. Anyway, they’re cool lights. Would def buy again.
