The Owl House: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Heather Hogan Autostraddle It's all about what makes you weird making you awesome, and there are too many hilarious sight gags and queer nerd deep cuts to count. Aug 25, 2020 Full Review The Owl House: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Tracy Brown Los Angeles Times The show embraces that feeling of being a fan regardless of what other people might think. For me, "The Owl House" has found its stride as Luz has started exploring magic school and meeting other teen witches. Aug 12, 2020 Full Review The Owl House: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Mike Hale New York Times The show's irresistible force, though, is the instantly identifiable, bourbon-soaked voice of the wonderful Wendie Malick, who plays Eda, the impatient witch who takes on Luz as an apprentice and all-around punching bag. Mar 16, 2020 Full Review The Owl House: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Justin Carter io9.com Owl House’s characters are quite charming and engaging, with the mostly teen cast managing to feel authentic, and the adults being equally competent while emotionally maladjusted. Jun 1, 2022 Full Review The Owl House: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Dave Trumbore Collider It's also populated with some of the strangest characters we've seen in a while, from skin-eating fairies, to eyeball-eating monstrosities, to other creatures that will undoubtedly eat a variety of other even more unpleasant things. Rated: 4/5 Mar 16, 2020 Full Review The Owl House: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Emily Ashby Common Sense Media Exceptional, quirky fantasy series has broad viewing appeal. Audience Member I don't get how people could like this show.. People only like it because it's queer, it's cheesy and honestly if It was done in the real world these people would get bullied. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/16/24 Full Review Jordan B The first season while being the weekest us still great. It introduces us to the world and characters while moving the plot along. The evolution of luz and amity from enemies to friends is heartwarming. The action is decent and the humor is great. I'd definitely recommend for kids 8-14 or if you like shows like gravity falls, star cs tge forces of evil, and amphibia. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Ben H this show sucks i hate it Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Isaiah P I liked the small adventures they were. But the pacing piss slow. The character development is meh at best. And a kind of boring soundtrack. Plus the characters didn't really feel like much. 3.5/5 Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/11/24 Full Review 1,3-bisphosphonates r The content simply sucks.
